» 5th Annual Fiesta Atlanta Partners with Atlanta Jazz Festival

ATLANTA (April 13, 2011) – The fifth annual Fiesta Atlanta and the 34th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival (AJF) are partnering for the second consecutive year on Sunday, May 1. Fiesta Atlanta will serve as the opening event with headliner WAR THE BAND for the ’31 Days of Jazz,’ which features live performances at various venues around the city. The Cinco de Mayo event celebrates Latino culture with a day-long music festival, and includes a Latin Jazz element.

“The Hispanic community in Atlanta is continually growing, and Latin jazz is a big component of our festival,” said Nnena Nchege, Atlanta Jazz Festival Manager. “We are excited to partner with Fiesta Atlanta and increase our exposure with the Hispanic community.” Read more...

» WAR THE BAND to Headline 5th Annual Fiesta Atlanta 2011

ATLANTA (April 6, 2011) – Lanza Group, LLC announced today that WAR THE BAND will headline the 5th annual Fiesta Atlanta on Sunday, May 1st at Centennial Olympic Park. The southeast’s largest Cinco de Mayo celebration set in the heart of Atlanta also features local and national Latin talent.

» Fiesta Atlanta Announces 5K Race Benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

ATLANTA (March 1, 2011) – Lanza Group, LLC is announcing the inaugural Fiesta Atlanta ¿5 Qué?, a 5k race/walk to kickoff Fiesta Atlanta. The 5th annual Fiesta Atlanta celebrates Cinco de Mayo and Latino culture with a daylong music festival on Sunday, May 1. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has been selected to be the beneficiary of the race.

» 5th Annual Fiesta Atlanta Returns to Centennial Olympic Park on May 1st

ATLANTA (February 15, 2011) – Fiesta Atlanta returns to Centennial Olympic Park for its fifth year on Sunday, May 1, hosted by Lanza Group, LLC. The Cinco de Mayo event celebrates Latino culture with a day-long music festival. For the 5th anniversary, Fiesta Atlanta and the Lanza Group are creating a five year goal to further reduce festival waste by 50%.

ATLANTA (April 1, 2010) – Lanza Group, LLC is proud to announce the return of Kroger as a major sponsor of Fiesta Atlanta 2010. The fourth annual Cinco de Mayo celebration returns to Centennial Olympic Park on Sunday, May 2, 2010.

Kroger’s participation will include a ‘Kroger Isle’ area with interactive displays and entertainment for children and adults, free product samples and information on popular food items. The Kroger arches will welcome attendees to the area as water misters cool down the crowd.
